Soft Tissue Management During and After Bone Reconstruction
When severe bone defects are present, to properly release the tension of the flap is mandatory in order to avoid a wound dehiscence. Moreover, after the bone regeneration procedure, the mucogingival junction position will be displaced and it will be necessary to apply different mucogingival techniques to correct such a situation.
This workshop will tackle the management of soft tissues during and after the bone augmentation procedure to ensure predictable results. The attendee will learn how to perform: Coronally reposition flap management and flap releasing technique. A free gingival graft plus vestibuloplasty. Onlay grafts for vertical soft tissue reconstruction.
