When severe bone defects are present, properly releasing the tension of the flap is mandatory to avoid wound dehiscence. Moreover, after the bone regeneration procedure, the mucogingival junction position will be displaced, requiring the application of different mucogingival techniques to correct the situation.

This workshop will address the management of soft tissues during and after the bone augmentation procedure to ensure predictable results. Attendees will learn how to perform:

• Coronally reposition flap management and flap releasing technique.
• Free gingival graft plus vestibuloplasty.
• Onlay grafts for vertical soft tissue reconstruction.
